Well, I mainly decided to have the down syndrome screening as an excuse to have an ultrasound (Good insurance and I like seeing the baby!). I didn't really think it was something that I was concerned about. Today, my phone rang and it was the nurse from my OB's office. She told me it was a negative screening and there was a 1 in 5000 chance of my little one having Down Syndrome. I was shockingly relieved. I didn't even realize that I had been worried!
