wow that sounds like a difficult situation but glad you have a good relationship with your first daughter - my biological mum gave me and my sister and 2 brothers up when we were very very young - my dad (and later stepmum) raised us, but my biological mum has never been part off our lives - we only have adopted children in our family who still have contact with their biological mum and i think its nice that they will grow up knowing her but at the end of the day they will know they were brought up in the best place possible as knowing their mum, they know she isnt capable of looking after them (due to mental illness)
