I was so glad I chose a name early on because then when I got close to delivering I was calling him by his name and I liked that connection.

My advice would be to name the baby something you LIKE versus trying to go with a 'family name' or the most popular and unique. Unless that is your favorite.

My family has really weird and old fashioned names that I don not care for. My husband comes from a family with a lot of names I liked, but I felt I couldn't use one side of the family and not the other.

So honestly, his name has no special meaning, other than we liked it and it fits him.

Well my daughters name is margo. It was my partner's thoughts and it sounds unique to me so I agreed to my husbands choice.
