My wife and I are new to the forum hoping we can find a solution for this, but the biggest problem we are having is around 2 am, he will wake up and be active and ready to go like it is 7am, and he will not go back to sleep until around 4 am. He has a 8 ounce bottle before he goes to sleep, naps fine throughout the day, eats regualr like he should as well. We have tried everything we possibly can, does anyone have any advice for this at all?
My wife and I are looking forward to reading all the stories that ya'll have on here and are glad we found the website. Thanks

Hi melainemile,
Definitely its a usual thing for a little kids. I admit I was a child before and when I grow older every childish things I throw away and became an adult. Btw I'm from Spain but now living in the UK. I found a very good Spanish au pair on nannygps.com. I've used NannyGPS to find my au pair. We got a really great girl that is working out for our family.

@ melainemile:
Try keeping him up later than his usual bed time, and if possible...no nap. If he gets a nap, keep it short...say, 1/2 hour to an hour. My husband and I had to do this with our oldest son, and it worked really well. It helped get his body clock back to normal, and on schedule. @ hannahthompson: Your 10 month old should be sleeping thru the night by now. If he is getting any formula at all every once in a while, try putting a little rice in it. This will help him stay fuller longer. Also, he may be ready for some real food. Try giving him baby food, and soft foods like mashed potatoes, pasta, etc. Hope that helps. |
