I had sex on July 4 and started my period the 5th. It was light and I had little or no cramping. The last two days were spotting off and on. The day after my period ended (which was on the 9th) I felt a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen. The next few weeks I started feeling on and off nausea, headaches, slight cramping in lower sides of my stomach and my ribs, I had tender breasts and nipples, I had diarrhea for two days straight and then was constipated the day after, and I've been a lot hungrier. Two weeks before my period was due I still had all of these symptoms but was also really tired and developed lower back pain. My period was supposed to come on Aug. 1. My usual pms symptoms are leg cramps, stomach cramps, and headaches. I ended up getting my period late on the third. Which was extremely weird for me. My period usually starts a day or two before the date marked on my period app for my phone or it starts the day of. My period has NEVER been late ever. On the third my period was heavy for about an hour and I had a few blood clots and really bad cramps. My period ended up getting light and would hardly even show up on my pad. When I used a tampon it was light, pink, and brown, and had little bits of red but not much. The next day of my period (today) is the same. It's been light, pink, brown, little spots of red. There is no blood in the toilet and light on the toilet paper. Usually my period is heavy all day the first day sometimes medium, stays medium until day 3 or 4, and ends light. My period is currently spotting. I changed my tampon which had pink, brown, and a little bit of red and when I wiped and put in another there was nothing except some that was really light and pink. I did some research and found that it was common for women to bleed during early pregnancy. Some say it's a period and some say it's just "vaginal bleeding". So I bought a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. With the research I did on this the women that had bleeding and took HPTs their result was negative. I'm just wondering what do you think? It's just really weird for my period to have been late and it's really weird for it to be this light. I have a doctor's appt. in a couple of weeks for a physical. Should I talk to my doctor about this?
