Hi,
I am a newbie here and this is my first post. To cut a long story short, I am 28 yrs old and am trying to have my first baby. I have a history of 2 ectopic pregnancies, both of which were treated by Methotrexate (hence tubes were saved). I was also treated for endometriosis ( by laparoscopy), following which I conceived again, this time ending in a miscarriage...

That was way back in July 2011.
Right now, I guess I'm 3 1/2 weeks pregnant. Even though my home test showed negative today, I've been having some significant symptoms for the last 5 days or so- nausea, sudden bouts of hunger, sluggishness, constipation, frequent urination, dull pain in lower-back, and most importantly, pain in my abdomen. The pain is sharp, stabbing, and kind of spread across the area, but mostly around my belly-button radiating upwards. A couple of times, it hurt around my vagina and lower abdomen. The discomfort increases when I stand/ walk around doing my normal work, and eases off when I rest my back and lie flat. And there is absolutely no bleeding or discharge till now, and no one-sided pain. Also, while sleeping it hurts when I turn to the sides (more kind of feels 'heavy'). With my 'not-so-good' experiences in past, I am keeping a close watch on what's happening. And boy, am I scared!
I would like to know if this kind of pain is normal in early pregnancy. I am due my next period on Feb 18, so I don't think seeing my Doc this early would be of much help. Could someone tell me if this pain is ok? Or am I ending up with another miscarriage or ectopic??? Are there any other signs I need to watch out for? Any activities I should avoid? Would love to get some advice on this. Thanks.
