Default Diabetes and Pregnancy

Diabetes is a common disease that is important to understand and monitor during pregnancy. 3 to 8 out of every 100 women develop gestational diabetes.

Hoping to learn more about the population's understanding of diabetes and pregnancy, we are asking for your help by responding to the following questionnaire.

Link to Questionnaire

The information from this survey will help doctor's understand the populations' knowledge of diabetes during pregnancy. It will assist physicians in providing the correct information to their patients and to be better doctors.

This is NOT SPAM. The questionnaire is completely anonymous and voluntary. We do not ask for any contact information. We are a California physician's office hoping to improve the quality of care for our patients.

Your input is extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to answer the questionnaire.

Hello Friends............

is a disease in which your blood glucose, or sugar, levels are too high. When you are pregnant, too much glucose is not good for your baby. Out of every 100 pregnant women in the United States, between three and eight get gestational diabetes. Gestational diabetes is diabetes that happens for the first time when a woman is pregnant. Gestational diabetes goes away when you have your baby, but it does increase your risk for having diabetes later.

If you already have diabetes before you get pregnant, you need to monitor and control your blood sugar levels.

Either type of diabetes during pregnancy raises the risk of problems for the baby and the mother. To help reduce these risks, you should follow your meal plan, exercise, test your blood sugar and take your medicine.

Thanks
