Well, I just got a good chunk of stuff for this little baby I'm going to have. I am on vacation right now, visiting lots of family...including my mother in law. MIL is VERY excited about "Alaska Baby," who will be her third grandchild. She asked me if I wanted to go shopping. Now, I live in AK and the shopping is pretty dismal. There are no outlet stores, no exciting sales, not a lot of choices. So...now my kid is going to look like a walking (crawling? Laying there and doing nothing?) Carter's ad! MIL and I went to a Carter's outlet store and got two HUGE bags of gender neutral clothes. It was so much fun! I wouldn't have normally gotten so much, so soon, but really, the deals were do great compared to what I'm used to. (Plus, MIL bought everything for me!) It's really fun to have lots of little outfits to look at and ooh and ahh over.

Have you checked out Ebay? Sometimes they have "lots" of kids clothing - so you can get a lot in one 'stab' so to speak.
Also, watch for online sales. There are tons of them - and you should be able to find a lot of what you need! |

I just registered...I don't expect that I will have to do very much shoppint at all. My Sis-in-law had a baby two months ago and said that MIL bought pretty much everything that they needed...clothes, furniture, carseat...even laundry detergent and baby wipes! I had a lot of fun registering because if felt like shopping, but I didn't have to spend any money.
I will certainly keep e-bay in mind when it gets closer to my due date. I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow. |
